Recently I discovered Dreamstime, a site where you can get many good free images, and some great images very inexpensively.

( 2.2 / 293 )Depending on your topic, an important part of blogging is photos. I have provided some free photos for people to use at my free photos site (freephotos.stevestedman.com), but there is nothing like shooting your own photos and posting them on your blog.
In order to do this you will need a digital camera. Most people have digital cameras today, and you don't need that great of a camera for blog photos since people won't want to view everything as a 10 megapixel image. Since most blog photos are sized at less than 800x600, you will need to be able to resize your photos before posting them on your blog.
So this brings us to the question of where is the best place to get a digital camera for blogging?
The last 3 digital cameras that I have purchased have come from Amazon.com. Amazon has a great return policy and a good selection. I have considered buying my next camera a Costco but they typically don't have the same selection that Amazon.com has, although they have a great return policy.
Personally I have purchased Sony cameras in the past, but I am seriously considering a Cannon camera instead.
So I turn this question to you, the readers....
Tell me about your experience purchasing a digital camera, what kind it was, where you purchased it, and how much it was, including tax and/or shipping. Also please state if you were happy with your purchase, and if you would buy from that vendor again?
