In order to do this you will need a digital camera. Most people have digital cameras today, and you don't need that great of a camera for blog photos since people won't want to view everything as a 10 megapixel image. Since most blog photos are sized at less than 800x600, you will need to be able to resize your photos before posting them on your blog.
So this brings us to the question of where is the best place to get a digital camera for blogging?
The last 3 digital cameras that I have purchased have come from Amazon.com. Amazon has a great return policy and a good selection. I have considered buying my next camera a Costco but they typically don't have the same selection that Amazon.com has, although they have a great return policy.
Personally I have purchased Sony cameras in the past, but I am seriously considering a Cannon camera instead.
So I turn this question to you, the readers....
Tell me about your experience purchasing a digital camera, what kind it was, where you purchased it, and how much it was, including tax and/or shipping. Also please state if you were happy with your purchase, and if you would buy from that vendor again?

I purchased a Canon SD1000 from amazon.com for a little over $150. It was well worth the money.
I have purchased 2 digital cameras over the last 4. The first one I purchased from Best Buy. It is a sony cybershot. I love it!! The sales person was very helpful and explained all the extra feature to me. This camera cost me $400.00. I would definetly purchase another camera from Best Buy. The second camera I purchased was from Target. It was a gift for my daughter. I will never buy a camera from a non camera or electronics store ever again. The second camera was $199.00. The sales person was not very knowledgable at all!

I have the Samsung S630 that I bought from RadioShack. I feel that it was well worth the money but now I'm currently looking for a new one and I have been looking at some on Amazon.com. They have quite a few that seem to good for the money.
I picked my Canon digital camera, Canon photo printer and bag all from Amazon. I saved money since there was no sales tax, shipping and the rebates!
I haven't bought a camera in a while. The last was a Minolta Dimage Z1 about four years ago now. Only 3 MP but with a great lens, it can seriously outperform cameras that were much more expensive. Unfortunately Minolta's merged with Sony on the digital end so I'm pretty sure the line's now out of production. It was about 120ish at the time though.
The best place to start looking for this kind of thing is dpreview.com. They do great reviews and you can search according to the specs that are important to you.

I've purchased two digital cameras for blogging. One from Ebay and the other on Amazon. I didn't spend much money on either but they're both 5 mp and work well. I only wish they could take pictures more rapidly.

The best place to get a digi camera for blogging would def. be Amazon.com, they have the best prices around, you can compare products and if you belong to Amazon Prime-cheap shipping! I bought my new Canon G9 there.

I purchased a Kodak EasyShare camera for work for $141.898, and is great for occassional moderate-clarity pictures for posting to the web.
I think the Sony Cybershot is a great camera for blogging. I bought a Sony Cybershot about a year ago, and it's one of the best digital cameras for the money that you can get. It was less than $100, the pictures are gorgeous, and I have dropped it about 100 times and it still works perfectly! It doesn't have all the fancy bells and whistles, but I post videos and pictures from that camera to my blog all the time. I love it.
I purchased a Sony Cybershot 8 MP camera because I was always partial to this company. They use the Carl Zeiss lens (arguably the best), and Vario-Tessar zoom technology (upto 10x optical zoom). It's a semi SLR camers because you can choose between auto and manual shooting modes. The focussing is pretty much automatic, but you can adjust the exposure setting as well as the aperture width. It's a lovely camera, with features like multi-burst so ypu can choose the best out of a no. of pictures shot almost simultaneously, but it was quite heavy on the pocket - cost me about $375.
Two years ago I bought a panasonic DMC-FZ5 which was great value for its money. What especially appealed to me in that camera was the Leica lens with an optical zoom of 12X.

I have a Fujifilm Finepix s700. It takes amazing pictures. I bought it at Walmart and after tax and the extended warranty I spent about 260.00. I absolutely love the camera. Personally, I have stuck with the Canon Elph series. I have had two different ones (as one was stolen) and have not regretted purchasing them. I definitely recommended them to all my friends as well. I purchased them at Best Buy since I worked there and paid between $300-$350. The reason I stick with the Elph is that it offers the most features for a snap and shoot digital camera with an easy-to-use interface.

Well the last camera I bought was a HP model. It costs me about 50€. When using flash, the pictures are good, but not when flash is turned off.

The Sony Cybershot that I got as a Christmas gift worked wonderfully for every picture I've ever tried to take. It's small and easy to carry around yet takes amazing quality pictures. Especially if you are going to use those on a blog.
Although Amazon is a great place to buy just about anything, I usually prefer to test out digital cameras before I purchase. I tend to do some research before hand it stores like Circuit City or Best Buy, and then go online and find the best deal.

The best place to buy a digital camera is at an actual camera shop like Castle Photo in Toledo Ohio. They are very helpful, showing all the special features. The camera will cost less money there. They will help you maintain it, and they have good classes. Even visiting the store is like visiting a blog to learn more about your digital camera.
I find your blog a bit informative, althought, in truth, I got my Olympus 130, digital camera at Walmart. Price, I can't remember, for it's just a long time ago. Yet, overall, I'm satisfied with my camera.
I'd love to get a digital SLR, but that's just too much money. They're also not indicated for someone who just wants to do casual snapshots.
If all you're after is a point-and-shoot, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Kodak. And I hate to say that. I have a Cameo film point-and-shoot that I bought back in the mid-nineties and have carried it around in my purse banging against God-knows-what, and it's still in great shape. But so much as look at a digital Kodak cross-eyed and it starts getting the vapors. My last camera's battery door broke; this one's lens cover is on the fritz. Never again.

I don't think it's possible to find the best place overall to buy a camera from. Ultimately, you'll probably be protected from a dodgy dealer by your credit card company.
The best bet is to shop around for the camera that suits you best. Whether it's pocket, portable, semi-professional, or professional - researching your purchase will pay dividends. Buy a reputable camera magazine, check them out in a shop, and then buy the one that you like the best. Don't let the salepeople flood you with numbers and stats - the magazines are best digested in your own time and are out there to provide advice.

Both Amazon and Costco are good -- if Costco has the model you want, I would go there. The problem with buying a digital camera now days is that most camera are more than you need -- for example the Canon SD400 was just fine but it has been discontinued so that the manufacturer can keep introducing new models at the sames sales price point. (That though is where eBay is helpful.).

I bought a Sony T70 from a Sony Shop in London for about £200. The assistant helped us choose by listing the pros and cons of the two models we were considering.
I would go back to that store if I need something else.

Brands of cameras are sometimes important though. Even if they cost more money the reliability and quality are important, even for a blog.

I purchased my last camera on Ebay. I purchased a Kodak Easyshare C340 w/the printing dock. It was used, but in perfect condition. The only problem I forsee with the camera, is that it burns through batteries quickly. Otherwise, it's a great value for the price! The printer is also of good quality.
I always find B&H Photo the best for online camera purchase, best value for the money....

I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A 7.1MEGA PIXEL SONY Cybershot from staples. Staples has pretty great customer satisfaction service and even allowed me to return it within 30 days for a full refund. I didn't however and I still am not sure how much I like this 199.00 dollar camera. Any setting other that auto seems to take bad photos, blurry and with streaks if there is a light source. I have read online that others are having the same issue but maybe I just don't know how to use it yet, when the photos do turn out they are excellent, even if blown up larger than the intended size.
often the best place to buy digital equipment is from large stores like dixons or currys. be prepared to wait for a sale and get in early.

I have an Olympus FE-230 and I like it alot. It's very compact and yet, it still takes great photos.
I agree that Costco has a very good return policy and you get good quality for the money. Although I have not bought a digital camera there so can not comment specifically on a camera purchase. One bad experience I can share was with Tiger Direct. My sister purchased a digital camera through them on-line. When she got the package, there was no camera in there. It was either never shipped or stolen. When Tiger Direct was called they said there was really nothing they could do. With a little more persistence they sent another camera - same thing happened. So finally my sister went somewhere else to purchase and again had to be very persistent to get her money back from Tiger Direct. Oh and I agree that Canon had excellent digital cameras.

Investing money into a camera is a solid investment and Amazon does have some great deals.
I shop everything out on eBay and Amazon to get the best deals. I really felt like I had to see the camera selections when I bought mine, so I went to Best Buy to look, touch, test, etc and then I went online I bought it on eBay for a lot less!
My current camera is Kodak from Best Buy, bought on Black Friday. IT's a bit extreme for blogging, but I use it all the time. I got it for $190 and am thrilled with it.
Personally, being from Europe, I prefer buying from sites located closer to me. This way I save time and money (taxes and shipping).

I've only ever purchased one camera, and it was on Amazon. Having used the family digital Kodak for years, I was a bit wary to buy another brand, but the price was right so I purchased a Cannon Powershot and I LOVE it. I'm considering getting a newer model of the Powershot, but I will definitely get it on Amazon.
My husband was planning on purchasing a camera online through Costco. Had it all pked out and everything. Before he ordered it, I told him to check via Amazon. He found the same camera, a hundred dollars cheaper, free shipping and it arrived two wks earlier then it expected (it actually came in 3 days)!!!

I bought a Fuji Fix Pix for my nine year old at Best Buy. It is a great camera and has a large display and is easy for him to operate.
I paid 199.00 plus tax and it was one of the best prices I had found. It was a super special.
Best Buy has good prices, as long as you shop the deals around special holidays. Go early to get yours, as they often only have a few of the advertised item. They DON"T bait and switch you either.

In response to your blog on where to purchase Cameras from, I too have purchased from Amazon. Most recently a Sony Digital Ax100 which I am very pleased with. Initially there was some confusion on shipping costs, however when I called Amazon's support they were very helpful and the issue was resolved free of cost to me. I definitely recommend Amazon. Also, I've found that sometimes by shopping around your locality, some department stores may have a camera that fits your needs for cheaper than many online stores. For example, I purchased a camera that was a display for 15% off and when looking online, I could not have gotten it cheaper.

I purchased a Canon SLR camera from Best Buy; I love the camera, but the service from Best Buy was miserable. I tried for almost half an hour to get a sales reps attention, but alas I guess that I didn't look like I had money so they didn't want to talk to me (actually avoided me more like the plague) - granted I had just got off work but I digress. I only stood around because the camera in question was almost $150 cheaper than anywhere else that I could find. I finally had to go get a manager from another department, and even with the manager there the Sales Rep acted like it was a chore to help me. I finally got to the register and after every thing including a zoom lense I think that I paid $600 (came with extra battery, 2 lenses, carry case, and filter set).
I paid 125.43 for a Kodak easyshare ZD710 at Walmart. I feel it was worth the money.
There are so many stores carrying cameras and accessories it gets down to getting the most for your money. I use an Olympus D-460 Zoom-it is 6 years old but does what I need.
For my money the best place to get a camera is bhphoto.com. I purchased a Canon SLR there, and even though it was $2500 for the rig, it was a great investment. Between vacation photos of my trips and getting paid to take photos at weddings, it's more than paid for itself with memories and paychecks.
Do you feel namebrands are important when making a purchase? My most recent digital camera purchase was a Kodak all in one unit at Circuit City. I purchased it mostly for the convenience of printing without a computer and due to the price.
I bought my camera off of Ebay 4 years ago, so I don't remember how much money I paid for it. It is a Minolta. It was also a refurb so it was a good deal on it. Last year I bought a mini dvd recorder which also takes still pictures so I use that now. However I'm hoping to get another digital camera in the future, thanks for suggesting Amazon, I didn't think about that. As for the brand, as long as it has a good review and does what I need it to, I'm not really concerned about the brand. :)

I just got into blogging, and I like to include pictures in my blogs. I got a really good Digital Camera off of Ebay. It was used, but it is in great condition and I saved over 100 dollars off of the retail price.
When I bought my digital camera I used a comparison shopping site. I can't remember which one it was, but I found it by going to google and typing in "comparison shopping for digital cameras." I got a Kodak EasyShare C530 with case and cleaning kit for $127. It was a great buy to me, but next camera I am going to buy will be one that has more functions because my camera now just doesn't have all the functions I would like. I would most definitely buy another camera online though because you can find great deals. Ontop of comparison shopping, once you find a bargain you can search for ecoupons or coupon codes for the site you are purchasing from and obtain even more savings!

I got mine from Toshiba. It is Fuji. It was about 250.00, but I saved some money with a mail-in rebate. So it really helps to have pictures in your blog? I will have to add some to mine. Thanks for the info!

I have a fugi finepix digital camera. The camera itself is good, less mega pixels than my phone but the quality is far higher. The only downside is the software bundled with it.
I bought my Olympus digital at Amazon.com as well - got the best price there and my accessories as well. Did my research all over the internet, though.

I look for a large, clear viewing screen. I had a digital camera that you couldn't use when it was dark out and I take most of my pictures at night so when that camera broke, I wasn't sad at all.

I bought a HP digital camera at xmas time from Walmart with the photo developer pod. Everything is easy to use with many different options on the camera it's self. The printer pod however is a pain in the buttocks. Beware if getting a HP one.
I have always used Sony digital cameras because they are pretty simple to use. I bought mine at best buy and haven't had any problems dealing with them. I think I paid $250.00 for it. Not bad for the quality of pictures it takes!

Research is the key with cameras and then purchase from reputable online sellers such as amazon, calumet, national camera and video.
I have heard that cannon products are great products in general. I have also heard great things about their cameras, although this camera was not a digital camera. I would suggest buying cannon.
You stated in your blog that you've purchased at least 3 different digital cameras and are looking to buy yet another digital camera. This surprises me. I was given a camera by my husband around 2 years ago and am just now thinking about getting a new one. If I were using a camera just for blogging I don't think it would be necessary to have anything above just a basic point and shoot. The only issue I've encountered with digital cameras in general has been shutter delay, which is certainly interesting when you have small children. =)

I think that getting a digital camera from a website like Amazon sounds like a bad idea. because the person that your buying it from can rip you off. Thats why I pefer getting a camera at a store so that you can see it for yourself.

I bought my camera from an independently owned camera specialty store. It was around $500 for the Olympus 770SW which is waterproof, and drop proof. I was very happy with the camera till I lost the battery charger, which has been nearly possible to replace, since it seems that everyone is always sold out.

I recently purchased two Canon A560's for Christmas 2007 after extensive online Google research. I searched for online digital camera reviews from approximately 3 different sites. Each site had detailed technical information about most brands and models of cameras on the market. I culled the cameras according to maintenance problems, quality, price, and review website rating system. After that process I than began my search for price both online and local. My online research guided me to a local purchase at Circuit City. My total cost per Canon A560 was $164.49 which included the camera, a 3yr. Circuit City Protection Plan, and Taxes. You could also include the price of one gallon of gas for the round trip to the store!
Amazon has everything of course and you really can't go wrong with a Cannon.
I'd also buy at amazon.

We made the purchase at Best Buy; the price was good, and they were actually great about accepting return of a different Minolta camera that we'd bought first. It was around $400 in January 2006. I love it to pieces. Canons are terrific cameras.

I have a Canon Powershot (Digital Elph) that I purchased from Best Buy. I bought it for approximately $250.00 although I think it was on sale. I have been very happy with the camera and I would buy it again if I had the opportunity. Sony has good cameras, but I do not like that they don't use SD cards. The Canon cameras are certainly worth the money.
I bought a Kodak EasyShare CD33 (3.3 megapixels) back in 2005 from Walmart.com. It came out to be around $108.00 with tax. While it is a pretty good camera next time around I will definitely buy one with more megapixels.
The Canon Rebel works very well--at least it has SO FAE--I haven't had it that long. I have plenty of experience with a PowerShot 610 and have been pleases with the quality, durability, and picture quality. Either is MUCH quicker than scanning prints I already have.

I purchased a Fuji FinePix S65000 fd from Amazon, and was amazed at how it cheap it was, and with free delivery as well.
However, the camera took weeks to arrive, and after many emails to Amazon, 2 turned up! This would have been great if they had only charged me for one, but alas they billed me for both. As soon as the extra was sent back, they credited my card back no probelm at all.

My digital camera came from Walmart. I already knew what I want and how much it was (HP Photosmart $130) and all I had to do was wait for an associate to finally get it out of the case for me.
Buying it was the easy part, however I wish I had done my homework because the camera is the worst I have ever owned.

One of the best places to get a digital camera is in the clearance area of the electronics department at Target or Walmart. They frequently switch out their stock and put the new, but later models on sale. If you're lucky, they might be trying to get rid of a great camera.
I have a Kodak EasyShare C875. It is nothing fancy, but I love the pictures I have been able to take. I bought it last year so I am not sure what I paid for it, but I did buy it at Circuit City. I went to their website and read the comparisons before buying it. I also bought the G600 printer dock and then got a case with rechargeable batteries for it for our vacation. It worked great. Anything electronic that I have bought I go to either Amazon or Circuit City to find out what other people have to say about it before I buy it. I did learn that the hard way. I bought a TV and never read up on it, after having issues, I found the customer comment sections and found other people had the same issue, wish I would have found it sooner. I highly recommend reading up on anything electronic you are thinking about purchasing and make sure you get exactly what you want.

We recently bought a Canon Digital Rebel EOS (?) from Amazon.com. My partner in love uses it the most for her blog. I think this is a great camera but it has quite the learning curve. Defintiely not a camera for the casual blogger or first-timer.

I would highly recommend a Canon Camera, I have 3 of them and I love them I bought them from a local camera store in Cleveland, Ohio. But I do hear really good things about B&H in New York. It is and online warehouse that sells camera and I have known many people that have bought thousands of dollars worth of equipment from them and have not heard of a bad experience yet. Good Luck!!!

My husband got my a Kodak for Christmas two years ago from Best Buy, and I loved it, but it quit working after 2 months. When he took it back, he found out they would not replace it, because of a policy they have of fixing faulty product 3 times before replacing it (which they neglected to tell him when he bought it.) Needless to say, it broke again after they fixed it, and after the 3rd time, said they couldn't give me the same camera, they were out of stock, and I had to take a cheaper one in it's place, but no refund on the difference. I raised a lot of ruckus over it, and they finally gave me a free 2 year extended warranty. I will NEVER go back to Best Buy for anything.

This is a great way to get information before buying a digital camera. I bought mine from Target. I was in a hurry and asked the sales guy what camera is great and cheap. He said stay away form Kodak. I got an Olympus and its great!!! The picture quality is fantastic. I am noticing alot of people have this camera.
I bought my digital camera from Best Buy. It was the new Sony Cybershot 10.1MP Digital Camera. While the camera is very nice I wish I had taken the time to read over the manual. I got stuck trying to figure out all the "extras" on the camera while I took my cruise. Also come to find out I did not have the right memory card for it either. Now I have 2 memory cards and know more about the camera and I love it!

One thing to keep in mind: Make sure you get a camera that comes with rechargeable batteries or a built-in charge mechanism. The amount of energy that goes into a flash quickly drains alkaline batteries, and you do not want to be buying batteries constantly.
Personally, I'm a huge fan of Canons. All the Sony's that I've had have broken long before their end of life. I bought a Canon Digital Rebel XT. Best camera I have ever owned, hands down. As for best place to buy? Online: Amazon is almost always the cheapest. Brick and mortar: Wolf camera has a good selection and a knowledgeable staff.

Although I have never own a camera, I have heard of Canon because my uncle has it. I think it is very savvy. Canon resolution is wonderful. You can see the pictures right after you take them. Canon is worth buying if you are serious about photography.

We bought a really great Sony camera from Best Buy for about 300 dollars. It is semi-professional and takes wonderful pictures, but it is bulky to carry around everywhere. There is a compact Cannon for about $250 at Best Buy that I'm considering purchasing for myself, and it comes in several colors, which adds a bit of fun!
I purchased my Canon E540 from Amazon and I love it! I also bought an underwater housing case for it. It was a great deal and I would definitely not hesitate to buy a camera from Amazon again.

I bought a C300 kodak easyshare camera from sams club for $110 and i really ahted the camera. I didnt know to much about cameras when i bout it i thought it just looked like and ok camera for the price. It was only 4.0 pixels? and i now know thats not very good.
I used to buy Sony and now have switched to cannon they make great cameras and are reasonably priced. So long as you do not go up into the high end SLRs. I usually go through Amazon to make my purchases the days of going to a store and having to deal with all the crowds is over for me.

Some professionals may scoff, but I bought my digital SLR from Bestbuy. It's a canon 30D, purchased as a complete kit. I did a lot of research before I went, because I didn't expect to receive too much help from the Bestbuy employees. But it was really easy, and a lot quicker than going to a camera shop where you usually have to endure long lines to buy anything.

I remember this past year in January I only had one thing on my "Birthday list", a digital camera.
And not just ANY digital camera. I wanted a good one because I wanted to start taking pictures, just random pictures everywhere I went.
I researched for a few hours one day and came across Sony's CyberShot. I wanted one in blue SO bad but unfortunately only the color silver was available, but I'm SO happy that I got it!
It takes GREAT pictures. I got it for close to $250 at Circuit City. Yes, the price IS a bit high, but I wouldn't change my decision to get this camera for anything!
I plan on buying future purchases from Circuit City too.
I would definitely buy this camera again IF I had to, but THIS time preferably in blue lol!
I still use a Kodak DX7440 4 MP camera which I bought 4 years ago. It is a good picture taker and has useful advanced amateur features such as a 33-132mm equivalent zoom lens, full manual control, and the ability to take filters, a lens shade, and other accessories. The battery life is also excellent. Unfortunately it is no longer made and they don't have anything in their current line-up quite like it.

I have purchased both of my digital cameras online. The first I bought from Amazon for similar reasons as yourself, the most recent I bought from Ebay, I got a bargain 2nd hand Canon which worked like new.
I have a Canon PowerShot A560 and I love it! It's really easy to use, very intuitive, and the photos upload to my computer super-fast. It's a great buy for the money, a 7.1 megapixel camera for under $200.
I purchased a Canon Digital Rebel XT from Best Buy, but wouldn't buy from there again. If I were to spend the money again, I'd get a Canon D40, they are wonderful and have a great kit lense.

WHY OH WHY would you EVER want or use a sony or canon camera? Are you trying to watch a Blu-Ray or print a photograph. You NEED to check out Minolta or especially Nikon. D80. I don't know how much you want to spend or how good you are but Nikon makes some that even an idiot can take a great photo.

My husband is an aspiring pro photographer, and shoots currently with a Canon 300D. He loves the camera, but is looking to upgrade to a 10D, or similar. Having used the Canon cameras, he has decided that he won't shoot with anything else.
My own blog isn't as professional as yours, so I never use a professional camera. I like to use my cell phone, I have a Samsung Slider then I can just put it directly on flickr. For me its easier and quicker and I dont have to be on a computer to do it.

I bought a new Digital SLR for $99.95 a few years ago on ebay when my daughter needed it for college. I really checked out the seller's reputation and it all turned out beautifully. She loves the camera and has had no problems with it.
It is indeed great to have your own photos with your own camera. I am an armature photographer. I use a Cannon S5 and it's excellent for my purposes. I bought it from Amazon and cost me $349 with shipping. In general, I always look at Amazon if I need to buy anything online. Up to this date, everything I needed was available in Amazon. I had problems with Amazon for cameras just because of the warranties. The camera I bought from Amazon had to be repaired three times within almost the first year. The first two times it was still covered by the manufacturers warranty the third the warranty had expired and it would have cost more to fix it than to get a new camera.
So, I replaced it with a camera from Radio Shack (after researching on Amazon) because at least then I can take it back to the store if it is damaged, even outside of manufacturers warranty and they will fix it.
Unfortunately my purchasing info doesn't much matter, as I got it from a friend; but I have a Sony Cyber-Shot and I like it quite well. I do some food blogging and it's given me crisp images to use. Mine is a few years old; but my parents got a new Cyber-Shot and they love it so far.
You definetely don't have to spend alot of money for a good camera. I managed to find a good Kodak for my daughter for Christmas at Target. It was normally $150 and I got it for $90. I kept the receipt. She managed to do something to it in the bottom of her bag. They replaced it! It takes decent pictures, not impressive, but they work for what she needs.
I disagree with Ami-chan, Amazon is a great place to buy and they never ask you questions if you want to return a camera.
A digital camera is crucial for blogging. Pictures make all the difference between drab "not reading anymore" and eye catching "I want to look at everything". Plus isn't a picture worth a 1000 words? I have a Canon - PowerShot 8.0-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera - Silver and it works great for me. I take pictures of all my handmade jewelry. The zoom and macro features are great and I can take pretty decent pictures. It was less than $200 and I think it was worth it.

I have a Kodak Easyshare C300. I got it from the kodak website a few years ago for $100...I don't remember what the shipping was though. I like it for the most part, but I do wish it was smaller...but I have had it four years now so that's the main reason it's bigger than other newer cameras.

Be sure to get one with a view finder, we found out the hard way how quickly the LCD screen can be cracked and, without a view finder, make the camera worthless.

I picked up a nikon d40 a month ago. I got it from best buy out of the door for 550$. I had a few reward zone % off and a 50$ GC. The camera works extremely well. I wish it had more autofocus points but for an entry DSLR its quite a steal.
Personally, i think SONY are the best cameras available, they have many features and they don't let you town. I had no trouble what so ever with buying one

Well I wanted to buy a digital camera and I ended up buying a Sony Digital Camera.The picture quality is good but the problem is you cannot zoom while making videos in these digital cameras.That's why I will suggest others not to but Sony Digital Cameras.
