Yes, I think so. With unemployment rising and more people turning to "work from home" incomes, and people looking to supplement their current incomes, I think blogging for money will increase.
Yes, for some, this is the only option available. There are many people that have always wanted to blog, but never had the time to do it. Now with all of the layoffs, this is the perfect time to learn blogging and make money.
Well, definitely I do think so.Many tasks can be easily done by the bloggers and they do not have to paid much compared to permanent stuffs. So,it is good for bloggers. They can earn more.
Blogging is new to me and I am new to blogging. I need some extra money and I will be trying it more to get some extra cash. I believe alot of people will blog for money in the future.
Does it make sense to allow google to place ads randomly on your site and what kind of income can one expect if one is a new blogger?
@JennyBucks thats a good question i don't know any numbers but I do see alot of blogs popping up so it must amount to something. I definitely think the economic downturn contributing to the rise in blogs, blogspot domains are nearly impossible to find anymore.
its true now a days people are showing much interest on the home doing jobs because of the it is better earning place in our own time
This economy is the perfect storm for blogging and earning money. First, people who are out of work have more time to blog and to check others' blogs. Second, people are beginning to depend on other people rather than companies or government to sell, buy and trade goods and services. Maybe this is a return to the old barter system which seemed to work for many years.
I don't know if it's due to the economic downturn, or if it is due to the fact that more and more people are discovering how easy it is to blog, or even it's just more people that are discovering blogging.
I think it's just a way for people to make money while staying at home, really. With the spike in gas prices last year, everyone that traveled to work began to look for jobs that paid just as well- or more- that were closer to home or even in the home.
I've certainly noticed a huge spike in the number of blogs lately, but I am not sure whether it's because people are looking into making money for a small bit of work, or if it's just a natural accumulation because blogs are more popular.
Blogging has become a new therapy for many people who are frustrated with the economy. Blogging allows people to be heard for miles about how they feel and what they are frustrated with. If they feel a business is not doing them justice they can let others know and hopefully save someone else from the short comings.
I haven't noticed any of the bloggers that I read posting more often. If anything, they are posting more infrequently. I read craft blogs, and the owners of the blog are too busy trying to make items so they can start an Etsy store.
I agree that people are concentrating more on blogging to get some additional income. Blogging is always an extra source of income wherein one can get revenue through Google adsense or getting referrals. It is an easy way too and free of cost.
Blogging is one of the many ways to make both ends meet. I think its the best way to earn online and making the best of your time while at home.
Do you think that bloggers should blog on something they are actually interested in with an eye on 'serving the public' in some way rather than money? Or do you think it is ok to set up a blog purely to try to generate income with 'content' taking second place?
I believe that many people are turning to blogging as a creative outlook in reponse to the economics downturn. I have to admit that I have but looking for addition sources of income. I'm not even makeing less money and prices at the stores seem to be cheaper. It's just that we can't sale anything.
If there is an alternative way to earn money without taking someone else pocket, then blogging is the solution. People can be creative with their post and how they project themselves. It doesn't even need a higher education for individual to start blogging. So I say why not. Go blog about anything and earn some extra money.
The economy has been harsh to alot of people and I am a victim myself. I recently started blogging and doing other things on the internet to make ends meet.
Yes, I think with the economic recession we are currently in, individuals may turn to blogging as a source of additional or supplementary income. The internet has many examples of individuals who have turned their random musings, observations, or opinions into popular blogs and advertisements on those blogs into a primary revenue stream. This can be seen with some of the entertainment, gossip, and pop culutre blogs, whereby those bloggers themselves have become celebrities and a brand image in their own right.
Yes..even I feel the same. In the current scenario, people would turn to various ways for making money and bloggin would be a source of income for many...
Do you think its better to have a large network of small blogs or one or two large ones which you focus all your time into?
