So you have a blog and you are investing time and effort into making into a great blog for whatever topic you love. Now you hear about AdSense and other ways to monetize your blog and you don't know if you want to change your blog into a commercial tool to make money.
This is a common battle that bloggers face, do you keep their content pure, or do you commercialize your blog. Is it somehow unethical to have advertising on your blog?
If you find yourself asking these questions, you first need to get those questions sorted out before you attempt to figure out how to make money with your blog.
Once you have they question of making money sorted out, if you choose to make money you are on your first step to making money. The most important thing that you can do is take action. Set goals on when you want to have your blog producing money, and make it happen.

( 3 / 105 )The higher ranked (Google Page Rank) your site is, the more traffic you will receive. So you can see that it is the goal of anyone with a website to increase traffic, increase the page rank.
Improving search engine ranking is like talking about the weather. Everyone you talk to has a slightly different opinion of what is good and what is not.
Please add a comment to this post, what I am looking for is ideas on what you would do to increase the page rank of a website. Also include in your comment if you think that this would be a good long term solution, or a short term solution.

Do you have any tips for how to best continue a blog post after you've started it and then half way through the blog post realized it was not going where you planned or you lost interest altogether?
If I am working on a blog post and lose interest half way through, or realize that it was not going where I planned, I will usually just save the blog entry on my hard drive, or on my laptop, and not post it. This allows me to think more about the entry, and to follow up at a later time.
For blog entries that get posted, often times I will come back to a blog entry that was written in the past day, and add something to it.
The simple rule, is that if you are not happy with it, don't post it.
